課程目標 |
This is a language enhancement course designed specifically for students who have enrolled or plan to enroll in the interpretation track of the Chinese/English Translation and Interpretation Program (中英翻譯學程口譯組).The aim of the course is to prepare you for the linguistic demands faced by interpreters. The materials and tasks used in class are chosen with the competencies important to interpreters in mind, including active listening, memory and oral expression skills. A wide range of authentic listening materials and speaking tasks will be used to improve your listening and speaking strategies and skills. You will also be expected to attend English lectures/conferences and do specific exercises on your own. |
